Tezpur to Itanagar to Ziro Valley
This trip through Arunachal Pradesh felt like one long scenic movie scene — winding roads, forest edges, hills opening and closing around us, and the kind of silence that only the mountains know how to keep.

The best part of the ride was not just reaching the destinations, but watching the scenery change slowly from town roads to mountain curves, from busy stretches to quiet valleys.
We started from Tezpur early, with the bike loaded and the route ahead full of promise. The road to Itanagar gave us everything a rider dreams of — open stretches, forest cover, mountain bends, and sudden viewpoints where we had to stop just to breathe in the scenery.
Itanagar felt like a natural pause in the journey. After spending time there, the ride to Ziro Valley became the most memorable stretch. The road kept climbing and turning, and every turn revealed another postcard-like view: hills wrapped in mist, deep green slopes, and a quietness that made the whole journey feel sacred.
Ziro Valley was the reward at the end of the ride. The scenery opened up beautifully, the air felt lighter, and the entire place carried a peaceful charm. Riding there on a bike made the journey even more personal — we did not just visit the place, we earned it mile by mile.
For me, this Arunachal ride was a reminder that travel is not only about seeing a destination. It is also about the stretches in between — the tea stops, the bends, the silence, the shared smiles, and the feeling that the world is bigger and more beautiful than we imagine from home.
